Even though witches, fairies and other surreal creatures don’t appear in this story there are many unordinary events. Little Red Riding Hood is one of those classic Brothers Grimm tales that has become part of our cultural understanding. Most have a firm grasp of at least the basic story summary: a little girl wearing some red apparel goes into a forest, neglects her mother’s instruction to not wander or talk to strangers, and meets a wolf twice—once along the path and once at grandmother’s : Bookroo.
